The office of Homeland Security has issued a terrorism alert.
No details yet...but the alert is for the San Francisco area that there is a "credible threat" of the Golden Gate bridge being targeted for being hit by an aircraft.

Check out Copper.net as a dial up internet service. Its $9.95 a month (or $99.00 a year for more savings). There are local dial up numbers in most areas. A nice feature is it works without any additional software being loaded on your machine. You just use your browser and email program. This means it will work regardless of Windows version, etc. Let me know if you use it as I can get a referral.
